Scarlet Season is a project from Seattle-based artist
Aileen Paron. A departure from her previous singer-songwriter format,
Scarlet Season pushes into deeper and darker territory, utilizing lush
instrumentation and electronic weirdness to create dynamic soundscapes.
The songs are an eclectic collection covering themes of violence,
betrayal, loss, isolation, and sensuality.
On the album, The Taxidermist, Aileen wears the hats of composer, lyricist,
singer, keyboardist, programmer. Joining her at the helm was producer
Matt Frickelton of Fading Collection, a renowned staple of the Seattle
